Today was another great day of sharing family cultures, customs, and family history.  We all learned a lot and ate great food! In math, students are working on subtraction with larger values. In writer's workshop, we are continuing with the three elements to a persuasive letter: audience, issue/point of view, and evidence(reasons). Today students had to come up with reasons to persuade their audience of their point of view.  In Science students are beginning a mini research project on food webs, food chains, ecosystems, etc.  They have a few more class periods to complete their group work. What a busy but fun day!
